Brandon proposed to me in Nashville over a New Year’s weekend getaway after receiving permission from my father on Christmas Eve in San Antonio.

After a magical night out on the town on New Year’s Eve, we went for brunch at our favorite restaurant in our favorite area of town, the Gulch. After a delicious meal, we decided to walk around and explore a bit more. We made our way to a park outside of the Country Music Hall of Fame (which is one of my favorite spots given my love of all things Taylor Swift and Brad Paisley) where he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. The speech was beautiful, and even quite lengthy. The answer was simple, yes.
