Even though Sydney and William had a lot of mutual friends in college, they never actually met until after college! Once they met though, they knew it was a perfect match. Sydney was taken aback with William’s bold personality and knew she had met someone that could keep up with.

For their first date, William surprised Sydney in Dallas (he lived in Austin) with flowers and took her on a surprise date. Years later, William asked Sydney to marry him in that very same place by setting up a picnic with all her closets friends waiting and hiding to witness it!

Sydney’s favorite wedding day memory was experiencing all the joy and excitement that came right before walking down the aisle. To make the moment special, William wrote her an amazing letter that completely calmed her nerves and prepared her for the gravity of the moment.

Before the guests arrived and the ceremony started, Sydney took time to peek into the reception hall. Since many brides told her that they never took time on their wedding day to enjoy everything, she wanted to make sure had the opportunity. It was a special moment for her to see everything she worked on for the previous nine months set up and looking so beautiful.
