Week after week, our team receives and showcases stunning weddings from across Austin, all thanks to the incredibly talented wedding vendors and wonderful couples who submit to us. Each month, our editorial team selects one standout celebration to highlight — a wedding that rises above the rest for its beauty, intention, and timeless appeal.

This month, we’re spotlighting Jessica and Michael Lanham’s classic wedding on May 17, 2025. Their day was the epitome of romance, featuring a soft palette of white and blush that felt elegant, refined, and effortlessly timeless.

Their Wedding Day

Jessica and Michael Lanham’s wedding on May 17, 2025, was the pemadlrfect balance of timeless elegance, meaningful tradition, and personal flair. Set against the sweeping Hill Country views of Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, their day unfolded as a romantic celebration rooted in faith, family, and the places that shaped their love story.

Planned to perfection by Pearl Events, the design embraced a soft palette of white and blush with lush, garden-inspired florals by Bouquets of Austin. From the refined paper goods to the ceremony aisle lined with blooms beneath a grand oak tree, every detail felt classic yet intentional — a true reflection of the couple’s vision.

Faith played a central role in the day, beginning with a heartfelt ceremony officiated by the pastor from Jessica’s childhood church. The ceremony was grounded in scripture, prayer, and faith-based messages, making the moment feel deeply personal and full-circle. As Jessica shared, honoring their shared Christian beliefs was essential, anchoring the day in love, gratitude, and the covenant they were making together.

Family and culture were thoughtfully woven throughout the celebration — especially nods to Michael’s Italian heritage. In place of a traditional groom’s cake, guests enjoyed a gelato cart during the reception, a sweet tribute to Michael’s family who traveled all the way from Rome to celebrate with them. The evening concluded with an Italian confetti send-off — sugar-coated almonds symbolizing love, luck, and the sweetness of marriage — seamlessly blending tradition with modern elegance.

Texas pride made its way into the party as the night unfolded. Jessica kicked off the dance floor in her white Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader boots, while the band mixed country two-stepping tunes with timeless classics. A final nod to their shared alma mater came as “The Eyes of Texas” played, celebrating their roots at The University of Texas at Austin and the life they’re building together.

The reception space glowed with soft candlelight, romantic tablescapes, and statement rentals from Premiere Events, while a custom ice luge by Full Spectrum Ice added a touch of playful luxury to the evening. Every moment felt joyful, personal, and thoughtfully designed — a celebration that honored where they come from and what matters most.

Jessica and Michael’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that the most memorable celebrations are the ones that feel deeply personal — blending faith, culture, family, and a whole lot of love into one unforgettable day.

Jessica and Michael’s Favorite Wedding Day Memory

“One of my favorite memories from our wedding day was seeing Michael for the first time as I walked down the aisle with my dad. We didn’t do a first look, so that moment felt incredibly special and meaningful, getting to see each other for the first time on our wedding day! Moments before the aisle, we exchanged private letters and personal vows and shared a few heartfelt gifts, delivered by our Best Man and Maid of Honor. Michael gave me a Tiffany pearl bracelet and the sweetest handwritten “open when” cards for different milestones and moments we’ll experience in our marriage, and I gifted him an engraved family Bible we hope to use for years to come, along with my own handwritten vows. When I started walking down the aisle, everything around me felt so calm, like time completely paused. All I could see was Michael standing there with the beautiful hill country behind him, and I felt pure peace and joy in that moment – I couldn’t wait to say “I do.”

Another moment I’ll never forget was opening the dance floor with our Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ “Thunderstruck” routine! It felt so full-circle to perform it at my own wedding alongside current and former teammates, continuing a tradition that means so much to me. I changed into my second look, wearing a mini dress I designed with Casablanca Bridal, and my hand painted white DCC boots, and the entire room’s energy was electric! Michael was right there front and center, cheering me on like he always had at AT&T Stadium, which made the moment even more special. It was such a fun way to officially kick off the dance party and invite everyone to join in for the rest of the night!”
