THE PROPOSAL: Mike looked for weeks to find a special place to propose in Austin and eventually chose Laguna Gloria. On the morning of the proposal, he left a bouquet of flowers and a note saying, “Be ready at 6. Dressy. No questions.” When Caroline saw the note, she of course started asking questions. They met for champagne that evening and proceeded to Laguna Gloria. Mike had a photographer hiding to capture the momentous event. Mike proposed, they shared champagne and took a few photos. After that, they continued the celebration with dinner at Jeffrey’s. The day after, Mike’s family surprised the couple by coming in town and staying the weekend.

FOR THE THEME: Caroline and Mike’s wedding was a traditional, black tie theme with a classic, romantic tone. Caroline achieved this look through the use of gold, cream and white in her color scheme. She loved the idea of a classic, timeless wedding paired with the historic Driskill Hotel.

GET HER LOOK: The bride wore a stunning honey silk organza ball gown with a plunging V-neck bodice, three-quarter-length sleeves, and a pearl and crystal belt. Her tulle veil with a light dusting of Swarovski crystals complemented her bridal look perfectly.

VENDOR LOVE: It was very hard for Caroline to choose just one of her amazing vendors to highlight, but she especially loved working with Brock + Co. Events, Westbank and Howard. They did an excellent job creating the vision that Caroline was looking for. They were the ultimate dream team in her eyes!
