SWEET BEGINNINGS: Cile and Anton met while attending business school in Bordeaux, France. At a school council party, their eyes met from across the room, and the rest is history!

PERFECT PROPOSAL: On the two-year anniversary of their first date, Anton took Cile on a surprise trip to the park. As they sat on a park bench across from the lake, he showed her a short movie he had made about their love story, and then got down on one knee and proposed! Cile and Anton celebrated their proposal afterward with friends and family.

THE SETTING: Cile and Anton were married in St. David’s Episcopal Church. They chose Brazos Hall for their reception. The unique style of the location allowed them to have the best of both worlds with a modern cocktail reception on the rooftop and a summer garden-themed party on the ground floor.

HUES SHE USED: Cile and Anton’s wedding was stunning and ethereal with touches of green, white and blush pink.

SPECIAL TRADITIONS: Because of the groom’s German roots, the couple incorporated German games into their rehearsal dinner. Guests smashed porcelain plates, mugs and bowls to symbolize the joining of two households and the challenges the couples will face.

SAVORY SWEETS: Designed and made by Simon Lee Bakery, the wedding cake had alternating layers of piña colada and tiramisu.

DELICIOUS DISHES: Cile and Anton worked with Austin Catering to create a family-style meal consisting of a light salad followed by coffee-crusted beef tenderloin with creamy mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables on the side.

VENDOR LOVE: Katie Fingerhut from Pearl Events Austin helped Cile bring everything together to make her big day just as she had imagined-perfection!
