SWEET BEGINNINGS: Amanda and Jordan met while working together at Texas A&M University. They were friends at first, but after their first date of cooking disasters and laughter, they soon realized there was more between them.

PERFECT PROPOSAL: Amanda thought she was on a simple hike around the Grand Canyon with Jordan and their friends, but she had no idea how special the trip would be. On their hike, they noticed an amazing view, and Jordan asked for a picture. When Amanda turned around, Jordan was on one knee and proposed. After overcoming her shock, she said yes!

THE SETTING: It was love at first sight when Amanda and Jordan chose Pecan Springs Ranch for their wedding. The couple and their guests enjoyed a beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the Texas Hill Country. Amanda particularly liked the large layout, allowing for guests to roam around and enjoy yard games, have a drink under the pavilion or outdoor cocktail area, and dance in the main reception hall.

SAVORY SWEETS: The heavenly wedding cake was the Mixed Berry Cobbler confection from Green Lily Bakery. The cake was southern vanilla with triple berry cobbler filling and vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream.

AMAZING ALTAR: Built by the groom and his grandad, the special altar was made of cedar and beautifully decorated with stunning blooms and greenery.

DELICIOUS DISHES: Royal Fig Catering served a summery, family-style dinner that included a grilled peach and arugula salad, bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin, roast chicken with red pepper romesco, green beans with tomato jam, and roasted garlic gruyere mac and cheese.

VENDOR LOVE: Ellen and Meredith from Westcott Weddings ensured that Amanda and Jordan’s wedding went off without a hitch. Amanda could not have hoped for more kind, diligent and thoughtful wedding planners for her big day.
