Emilie Baros and Brandon Weber’s Charming Austin Brunch Wedding at Barr Mansion

PERFECT PROPOSAL: Brandon popped the question when he and Emilie were vacationing at Disney World with her family. They had just finished watching the fireworks show in front of the Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom and were walking up Main Street when he asked if they could take a photo with the castle in the background. Before Emilie knew what was happening, Brandon was down on one knee asking her to be his wife!

SETTING THE SCENE: Barr Mansion is beautiful beyond words. Being a photographer, lighting was one of the most important things to Emilie, so that was a big factor in choosing their venue. The ballroom was amazing with its full glass wall that let in gorgeous light, making it the perfect setting for a brunch wedding. The grounds were breathtaking. With all of its lush greens and vibrant flowers, every corner is picture-perfect.

HUES SHE USED: Blush pink and navy blue tones with accents of gold perfectly complemented Emilie and Brandon’s simple yet charming brunch wedding aesthetic.

BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: Giselle at Lovely Leaves Floral did a wonderful job creating Emilie’s bouquet using bright pink peonies with greenery.

DELICIOUS DISHES: Barr Mansion is a certified organic farm and their food is to-die-for! Emilie and Brandon chose from their brunch menu and had fresh garden salad, shrimp and grits, mini French toast with seasonal compote, egg quiche, and biscuits with whipped floral butter.

SPECIAL TOUCHES: Emilie and Brandon kept the decor simple and added touches of greenery with gold accents. A dear friend of the couple’s created beautiful table numbers and calligraphy signage throughout the venue. As their wedding gift to guests, the couple had the Lucky Lab Coffee Co. serve coffee during cocktail hour.
