About The Artist
“Being a floral designer has been a lifelong dream! I graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in horticulture and a minor in business. While attending, I was fortunate to be able to learn from one of the best professors around, James Johnson, also known as “Mr. J.” I was very involved in the Student American Institute of Floral Design (SAIFD) chapter and traveled with a select few individuals from our team to national design competitions hosted by the American Institute of Floral Designers. I even placed in the Top 10 Bouquet Designs out of hundreds of students from all over the country! Being a part of that community really ignited my passion for floral design and gave me the tools I needed to start my own studio.
While the design planning process is fun, I would have to say that what I enjoy the most is seeing the joy on our clients’ faces! There’s nothing better than handing a bride her bouquet on the wedding day and seeing her eyes fill with tears of happiness because of something we created for her. It’s an honor and a privilege to be able to add a special touch to our sweet couples’ wedding days.”
About The Design
“I wanted to create a design that truly showcased our style! I chose a birch bark planter as a base and added blooms with a fresh and juicy citrus color palette. I incorporated blooms such as garden roses, ranunculus, protea, scabiosa and peonies. Using a variety of textures and bold colors really made this design pop!”
