SWEET BEGINNINGS: Claire and Eric met through a mutual friend who had waited until just the right time to introduce the two, and it worked! Years later, the couple honored her at the wedding with a trophy for Best Matchmaker.
PERFECT PROPOSAL: When the couple traveled to Kauai, Claire thought she had planned the whole trip, but Eric had planned the most exciting part. They hiked the Kalalau Trail to get to the beautiful Kalalau Beach. It was an intense hike, but the surprise proposal on the beach made it worth it. Eric carved a wooden box that swiveled open to keep the ring nestled safely inside. The moment was thoughtful and romantic.
RUSTIC BOHO: The style of Claire and Eric’s wedding was rustic bohemian in hues of fuchsia and navy. They rented a teepee from Loot Vintage Rentals to create the lounge area, and incorporated Eric’s woodworking skills by using the picnic table and wooden flower boxes he handmade.
DELICIOUS DISHES: Royal Fig Catering was incredible to work with and served the most delicious food. Claire and Eric chose to have food stations, and Royal Fig worked with the couple to personalize them. Stations included a mac n’ cheese bar with signature dishes, and a delightful s’mores bar using Eric’s picnic table that featured a built-in trough for candles. Even the silverware display was beautiful and fit in with the wildflower theme. Best of all, everyone at Royal Fig was incredibly nice and fun to work with. They treated the couple’s family like royalty and anticipated their every need by going out of their way to make the evening flow smoothly.
VENDOR LOVE: Claire says they could not have had such a fun and smooth wedding without their wedding planner, Pearl Events Austin. The Pearl Events team offered excellent recommendations and have years of experience. Pearl Events helped Claire stay organized and ahead of the timeline so the wedding weekend was relaxing and carefree.
