Organic Austin Wedding from Whitt | Allison + Brook

HUES SHE USED: Allison and Brook had a modern, organic wedding full of elegant details decorated in hues of berry, creamy ivory, soft pinks, gold and natural greens.

MEMORABLE MOMENT: After the ceremony while the other guests were enjoying a cocktail hour with passed hor d’oeuvres, the couple’s wedding planner, Gina Whittington of WHITT, arranged a small private room for Allison and Brook. This time spent together was priceless. It gave the newlyweds a chance to sit and enjoy the first moments as husband and wife together. Gina also had champagne and a sampling of the hor d’oeuvres for them to snack on.

SAVORY SWEETS: Simon Lee Bakery created a four-tier, gold-coated cake with a layer of chocolate cake with peanut butter ganache and peanut butter chips and a layer of vanilla crème cake with a layer of fresh strawberries and grand marnier whipping cream for the bride.

VENDOR LOVE: Allison and Brook wanted to ensure every detail was covered and executed seamlessly, but as busy entrepreneurs. they didn’t have the time to devote to every little detail. With a planner, you come up with a vision together, but the planner executes that vision. So while the couple still made the final decisions, Gina of WHITT narrowed down the options and saved them an enormous amount of time. On the wedding day, Allison loved not knowing the details. She was able to be present and enjoy the moments.
